application or loaded by some other means ?
Can you query the data via the Virtuoso SPARQL endpoint (http://
:/sparql) or some other means and receive the
expected data ?

I am currently working on some algorithms for indexing subclasses in
ontologies expressed in OWL. I therefore traverse the ontology performing a

In order to load the file, you need to convert it to UTF-8 and then to load it.
You can use this function for the purpose:

It appears that the rdf file I used was marked to be UTF-8 (), but the actual file format was iso
latin (iso-8859-1). After I changed the rdf file to read it worked. It worked also when I
changed the actual file format to UTF-8 while keeping the content
encoding parameter as UTF-8.
