Ok, here's how this works.
IIS natively supports nothing other than serving static files and execute
add-ons. This applies to all IIS versions.
Ability to use dynamic scripting frameworks like ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, JSP,
Perl, etc are all add-ons as far as IIS is concerned.

This depends on how your set up, but if I had to guess, I'd say the
following:
Check your uriworkermap.properties file and make sure JSF pages are a
mapped extension.
