I'm running a 3rd party application on Tomcat and getting out of memory
errors. With Tomcat 6.0.20 and 6.0.26 it runs fine and consumes < 100MB
of RAM max. If I use Tomcat 6.0.28 or 6.0.29, giving up to 5 GB to the
JVM heap, I get out of memory errors.
This is on both Windows Server 2008 and Deb
I suspect a memory leak in an application I'm running on Tomcat 6.0.26
and Sun Java 1.6.0_12. After a file is posted, the application responds
('your file is uploaded blah blah'), then processes the file in a
thread. After the processing is complete, the free memory as reported
by Tomcat cycl
I'm new to Tomcat and using version 5.5 on Debian Etch. I'm getting the
following error:
Feb 23, 2007 12:55:03 PM org.apache.struts.action.ActionServlet init
SEVERE: Unable to initialize Struts ActionServlet due to an unexpected
exception or error thrown, so marking the servlet as unavailable.
Can anyone point me to resources on running Tomcat on the GNU gij runtime?
