via the loadbalancer-worker to tomcat.
Also, I dislike the idea to habe the same ajp-Port al all instances (or do
they have different names?).

As a "Pure Java" workaround, I would use a Singleton to collect work
orders from various servlet-threads. That singleton would create one
worker thread and feed it sequentially with work for the native code.

thanks for the clarification. I suspected something like this although the
maschine is still running reasonably well.
I will upgrade the Webserver to 2.2 as the present release came with
Oracle and seems to have no apxs-Files.
