Error Messages?

Enabling CGI's in Tomcat

l, I have lots of WEB-INF directories, I suspect it wants me to do it in the ROOT/WEB-INF.  However, I don't have a cgi directory anywhere.  Can somebody tell  me what I need to do (in addition to the changes in web.xml) to enable CGI processing in Tomcat? Kevin Mullin Sr. Analyst IBM Cor

Help with Manager Embedded Web Application

s the manager application has a CATALINA_HOME of apache-tomcat-5.5.17-embedded.  How do I install this?  It needs to go into my CATALINA_HOME, but tar (that is, jar) will simply create a directory of apache-tomcat-5.5.17-embedded, which tomcat will not be looking at.  Did anyone else run into this?

Where is bootstrap.jar

, looking for bootstrap.jar.  Should that have come with tomcat?  I'd like some information regarding this missing jar file.  Where can I get it? Also, I'd appreciate experience from anyone who has done this, installed Tomcat on a mainframe system running z/OS 1.7 OS. Kevin Mullin S
