updated to apache 2.2.10, mod_jk 1.2.28. tomcat should stay installed
unchanged.

i use tomcat 5.5.26 on Suse Linux 10.1
Tomcat is installed in /usr/share/tomcat5 Newly created webapps are
created in /usr/share/tomcat5/webapps
Now i want to change this Path for new uploaded webapps. I could make
symlink to folder i want but i think there must be a cleaner way.

me again, my last error could be solved. I hope this case too.
I have a Problem in tomcat-admin . I got error 500 when addmin Environment
Entries. Path is:
Tomcat-->Service-->Host --> Context-->Resources-->Environment Entries
When i choose "create new env antry" i got error 500.

file.jsp located? Does tomcat show any log messages for the moment in
time when page is requested? Anything in your httpd logs regarding the

Tomcat is now working. The Only Difference is that i startet with
/usr/share/tomcat5/bin/startup.sh
Former startups used orig. Suse Startscript /etc/init.d/tomcat5
