What to know to to access a webapp without using the context in the url in
tomcat 6.0
for ex:
Instead of using http://myserver.com/TestApp, it should be accessible with
http://myserver.com
There is only one web application deployed in tomcat.
Any help on this much appreciated..

but not a 1.6.0_00 JVM.
The latest 1.5 JVM seems OK too.
Time to check the release notes. I'll hopefully have a workaround (other
than using Java 1.5) shortly.

Yes, but there is a short-cut. Set it in CATALINA_BASE/conf/context.xml
and it should apply to all contexts on that instance.

building mod_jk from source solves the problem.
