mergeinfo pointed to nonexistent branch

Hi, After reading Advanced Merging chapter http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.branchmerge.advanced.html i started to think that mergeinfo property (set in e.g trunk) for nonexistent branch or file is no longer needed. This information is neccesary to avoid merge of files that already are

Where should I start, if I want to build the SVN project?

HI, I wish to build a custom GUI for SVN with Java. And I wish to learn from the start, so I would like to learn how to build the SVN project form the source codes. So can someone please tell me where can I get the documentation? I'm working on Vista, should I use the MS Visual Studio or anoth
