Hi, What is the recommended method to keep an svn mirror in sync each time
a user commits? I have about 20 users posting commits throughout the day
and I would like to have the svn mirror duplicate or copy the current
commit from the source repo. I've tried putting this line in the source
repo post

> commit-a-file-partially-in-tortoisesvn

Your response is packed with very interesting information and resources, it
will take me some time to work through all of it but I'm definitely interested
in a follow up.
Thanks Johan!

these options would be really useful...

When I run the perl script on a local directory via the command prompt,

Could ya'll let me know if this is possible.
If so, I will attempt to figure it out.
When you commit a file, send an email to the author, or for that matter anyone,

file will be created or written to, which contains the revision number of
that last svn commit.
This is for a fpga and I want the svn revision number to be within the FPGA.
When the revision register is read, it agrees with the svn revision number.
Not how to do it. Is it possible?
Thanks
until git in xcode4), it's surprising they would choose this file naming scheme
and not see a lot of problems (or maybe they do, but they're Apple).
Is there a way to work around this? A client/server option to be able to have
@ in a filename?
Thanks, Ron
