g more than one project into a single SVN repository. The only
problem is, as it says in the manual [1], that Subversion's ability to
correctly convert revision dates into real revision numbers may be impaired
by non-chronological revisions.

Hi David,
For the cost of your time and your IT Manager's time that he has spent
worrying about it, he could have just bought some larger disks ;-)
I think the canonical way to accomplish what you want is to use a dump
filter, see this section of the manual:
http
on Linux, Mac and Windows (some
people like that they can have the same interface on all platforms)

Disclaimer: I work for WANdisco, but I don't know of a fancier
graphical Linux client. :-)

I am not the list manager, but all emails from this list contain a header
like:
List-Id:
That should enable you to filter them appropriately.

That way you shouldn't have to worry about dependencies.

Subversion is not a backup system. Usually you would arrange for a
separate system to backup your Subversion repositories.

The proper place to report bugs with Fedora packages is the Redhat Bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora
The maintainer of the package should see your bug report there.

ng at the update
system [1] Fedora 16 should have Subversion 1.6.18 very soon. Feel free to
install it from the updates-testing repository or wait for it to be pushed
to stable.

Yes, you should read up on path-based authorisation. Here's the link to the
appropriate chapter in the manual:

Do you have any other older Subversion libraries installed that it

Why not just use the http:// scheme from localhost? That way, write
operations should be as safe as from any other client machine. The
file:// scheme is really only safe for a single-user.
