I recently started a new role and it was with great delight that I
discovered 5 different Swing WebStart applications available from the
intranet.
Having developed in Swing, MS WinForms, MS WPF, AngularJS and ReactJS, I
would say Swing on NetBeans has the best speed of development

As an old time NB user (started sometime between 2000 and 2004) I have been
quite devout in my use of NB for all things Java.
As much as I'd like to have seen a Swing-dominate world, it was JS/HTML/CSS
that prevailed. ;) ;) ;)
