These keys are modifiable in Systems Preferences, so if you're using a
keyboard that hasn't been manufactured for Apple, you can tell another
key, e.g., the Windows key, to be the ALT key.

This is something I have been wanting to ask for a long time too.
It would be really useful when collecting logs from users of our app. I did
see http://wiki.netbeans.org/DevFaqAddTimestampToLogs which I haven't
tried yet - but I would be curios to know the reasons why it wasn't already
included.
I see in the popup 'Alt-Enter shows hints' and on macOS Mojave Alt + Enter
does the job. The key with 'Alt' on it, not Cmd, not Ctrl.

Hello,
I am using the (built-in) Consolas font for editing in NetBeans (and all other
code editors actually).
It seems that the line height in the NetBeans editor is a bit too small and
cuts off the top most pixels.
This isn't really a problem, except for upper case German umlauts (ÖÄÜ).

Hi,
Could somebody please tell me how to do Alt+Enter on Mac (and yes, I
have googled and looked at "help > keyboard shortcuts card" but to no
avail).
Context: netbeans is suggesting I hit Alt Enter for hints.
Cheers,
Ewan

Hi everyone!
Since using NetBeans 11.3, deployment of my EAR-Project to payara is
really slow.
I have about 20 message driven beans in my EJB-Module and for every
single one of it the following output is written to the console
during deployment:

Hi,
Is there any specific reason why the NetBeans log file does not have at
least a date and time option in a single row?
