As an aside, I'm trying to get openshot accepted as a package for
RPMFusion and am having some luck but things seem to be moving slowly,
probably due to F14 going gold.

happens is there any way to use it already with fedora14?

frontend to use ffmpeg as the backend. ffmpeg is not allowed in normal
Fedora repositories for patent reasons.
