I have an issue where my external monitor (ViewSonic) will not wake up. Why I
think it's related to Fedora is the following:
Fedora recognizes the monitor's existence when I go into settings. However,
the monitor will not turn on. I have tried xrandr with no luck. I have also
tried Alt + F2
I recently purchased a ViewSonic VX2452MH monitor. I have it set up as an
external monitor for my Thinkpad T470S using Fedora 27. When the resolution is
set to 1920 x 1080 the right side of the display gets "truncated". It' just
about a 1/4" to 1/8" of the screen, but it's enough to be bother
Has anyone been successful in setting up powertop[1] to start when you switch
from AC to Battery power?

I have TLP installed to extend battery life. I have a Lenovo T440s and I have
Fedora 26 installed. When I run TLP it recommends the installation of the
acpi-call kernel. When I follow directions here[1] it "works" until the final
step(s) of: dnf install akmod-tp_smapi akmod-acpi_call kernel-d
I am running Fedora 24 on a T440s. I have a docking station that when connected
works as expected. However, if I disconnect from the docking station and try to
connect to an external monitor sometimes the monitor doesn't recognize the
computer and sometimes my computer doesn't recognize the moni
