i do believe you have had an unfortunate and rare occurrence while installing
the most advanced linux OS
i have been installing fedora since fedora 8 came out and up until the latest
ubuntu came out (10.10) Fedora has been much easier for me personally to
install. Usually taking a max of 3 hr

/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default is where I replaced a file and edited it to fix my
resolution problem i had i dont think u hav a resolution problem but i think
that there may b a folder for the KDE desktop suck as
/etc/kdm/PreSession/Default and the Default would b the file to edit as i hav
