where the actual OS is installed, and I just cannot seem to figure out
how to make it do it this way. All it ever seems to do is collect all the
available unpartitioned hd space on all selected hds and combine it into one
large Volume Group...

just run gpg-agent in my current shell with no parameters, it tells me "gpg-
agent: gpg-agent running and available". I'm running rpmbuild like this:
rpmbuild -ba --sign rpmbuild/SPECS/
What am I still missing?

Hm, I haven't tried that, but when the described lockups happen, I can still
send and receive over that same network interface.

The kernel version on the client machine is 3.5.4-1.fc17.x86_64.
Does anybody have any idea what might be happening here or what I could do to
further debug the problem? Should I file a bug report?
