Does Fedora 29 support the Intel RST (Rapid Storage Technology) chip for
hardware RAID? My new ThinkPad P72 came with an RST chip set up with two
2TB PCIe M.2 SSDs in a RAID1 config. The Fedora-29-MATE-Compiz spin DVD
doesn't "see" it. Nor does Clonezilla.
There's a BIOS mode setting for the Intel

re any of
those with the 4.14 kernel number, remove those packages too.

Eddie,
Easy. At a CLI prompt type:
ls -l /boot | grep vmlinuz
You should see a "vmlinuz-0" rescue kernel followed by the three latest
installed kernels. For the most recently updated F29 these will be
4.19.2-300, 4.19.2-301, and 4.19.3-300. If you have any numbered below
4.19.2-300, you can

I just bought a ThinkPad P72 "mobile workstation". To see if Fedora 29
would work, I made a bootable thumb drive with the 64-bit F29-MATE spin.
It passed the self-test, but the boot stops before going into graphical
mode.
This is a new and just-released system, so it couldn't be tested before

After my trusty ThinkPad W700 failed I've been forced to fall back to an
ancient Dell E6500 laptop with Broadcom BCM4322 WiFi. Apparently Fedora 28
Workstation doesn't support that chipset. I'm forced to drag around a
Ethernet cable. No matter what I try, I cannot enable WiFi.
Any suggestions?

Would it be fair to characterize the state of F25 development for ARM as
"experimental". It's certainly not ready for prime time.
I installed the MATE ARM spin to a 128G Class 10 microSD rated for 85MB/s
reads (not rated for writes). I was delighted to see my RP3 boot up
perfectly to the Anaconda
