It starts working when I do:
[root@laptop ~]# ifconfig wlan0 down
[root@laptop ~]# rmmod iwl4965
[root@laptop ~]# modprobe iwl4965
[root@laptop ~]# ifconfig wlan0 up
If then I do
[root@laptop ~]# rfkill list

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it didn't help. I've tried previous
kernel as well, all 4 combinations of the kernel and iwl4965-firmware, and
now also latest kernel-3.7.6-201.fc18.x86_64.

Hello Fedora community,
After yesterdays update (see [1]) wireless stopped working on my hp 8710p
laptop. To be more precise, wireless appears as to be on but it does not
connect to local home wifi, and under Wireless network settings all wifi
networks appear as out of range. When I try to force t

Hello Fedora community,
I've just upgraded Fedora 16 to 17 using PreUpgrade. After second restart I
was welcomed by SELinux alert (see [1] for alert details).
This bug, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=704591 , seems
related but it's labelled as fixed in older version of selinux-policy.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. Thanks for trying!
Kind regards,
Stevo.

Kind regards,
Stevo.

Hello Fedora community,
I've just upgraded fedora 16 x64 from 3.2.1-3 to 3.2.2-1 kernel, and wlan
led (on hp 8710p laptop) started blinking. It wasn't blinking for quite
some kernel updates. It's configured not to blink via line "options
iwl_legacy led_mode=1" in "/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf". I
