I think I succeeded. I changed both - Changing HOSTNAME in /etc/sysconfig/network doesn't work - "hostname"command just temporary changes the name I'm sorry for my last email saying that the above two methods didn't work. They work actually!!! Thank you very much for your quick support. -- user

It's a good USB drive. I've never tried it out anyway. I'm not sure it was not a bad burn. I tried several rewritable CDs with several burns and were even successfully verified after burning. Something I notice was that my rewritable CDs rarely got a bad burn. I'm gonna try with my USB drive now
