Thanks, good questions. I'm not sure the a
display, but it is waiting for keyboard entry.
Reading it looks like the DISPLAY is not yet set.
Is there a way (other than not autostarting the terminal) to delay the
askpass dialog till a DISPLAY is set? Or any other ideas?

Ok, so I didn't read about the removable media mount point being changed to
/run/media//device
Would have been nice to have that as a gotcha.

After doing systemctl, I see several services in maintenance mode:
systemd-initctl.socket loaded maintenance
Ok, so now what? Is there a tutorial on clearing or fixing a
maintenance service?

will get it going. The newer kernels (2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64) have
fixed the bug that caused the screen to go blank so the 'iommu=soft' is
not needed after you get updated.

I've read of the kernel 2.6.32 having issues with some machines with
nvidia graphics.
Try adding
iommu=soft
to the grub boot kernel line.
