Fedora 40 system with X!! and icewm. The xscreensaver defaults to a
message saying that it needs xscreensaver-gl packages. dnf shows the
packages to be installed. Why doesn't xscreensaver find them?

I am fighting to have local dictionaries available with dictd on fedora
40.
I have in my /etc/dictd.conf:

That does seem to have a lot of space used.

I would download the good versions RPM and save that.
Then when you test new versions of wpa_supplicant you can always downgrade to
the saved rpm version.
