Hi,
I used Japanese input in Fedora23 before but after a reinstall because
of an intermittent distribution switch where I used fcitx I get punished
for cheating on Fedora. I just can't get ibus with KKC working outside
of urxvt. In no GTK- or QT-app it will run.
I tried in my .xinitrc, .xprofil

The virtual consoles are created by systemd at startup.
Do you have the following files on your system?

I have installed the b43 WiFi driver (from memory I think I had problems
with the b43-fwcutter RPM and had to install it manually) but in any
case it works generally with this old NetBook both in X and from the
console - _IF_ I log in from the netbook first . . if I reboot the
NetBook
