As Marko has already mentioned, no
FWIW, I've had no problems with KDE and monitor positioning. KDE has "kscreen"
which is configured via the "System Settings" GUI.
That being said, F21 and KDE will run "sddm" as

Is there a way to view the procTBL "ps" to be able to see that a

How can I set LC_TIME=en_DK.UTF-8 for all users, to get a sensible ISO
date format in most programs?
Setting /etc/locale.conf doesn't help:
[mjc@xena ~]$ more /etc/locale.conf
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_TIME=en_DK.UTF-8
After rebooting, and launching a terminal in gnome-shell, LC_TIME is

Hey..

Fedora 20 x86_64, gnome shell
I'm recording off my line input and it's coming in a bit hot so I'm using
the gnome-shell control to drop it from 100% to "unamplified". It stays as
long as the program runs but as soon as I close it (or when I reload the
program, haven't checked) it resets to 100%.

I did spend a lot of time on this some time back but never found a workable
solution within KDE.
In the end I created a BASH script which called xrandr with the correct
arguments to set my two - different sized and resolutioned - screens as I
wanted them.
I then added that to the startup using
