After upgrade from fedora 14 to fedora 16 on a Inspiron 9400, I lost
the sound!
vlc run OK, but no sound!
How can I check the hardware drivers?

Fedora 16/XFCE machine, the latest kernel doesn't get used (uname -a
shows a previous kernel).
I couldn't see any obvious related errors in dmesg or
