Well granted I have not touched cd since v6.0 I am not sure about the current
one. But
back then there was an internal you could use (port 8080 I think) that could be
used
without installing any other web server. it was not meant for production,
but rather
testing.

is there a built in cf webserver? i thought it ran as
a cartrdige. anyway, the cfadministrator does not show
up when i turn apache services off, so it seems that
the cfadministrator is using apache. i'm still
confused about this. wondering if i should rebuild the
connector, or if this is a differe
Well it is not so much that I think Foxserv is the issue - I was more curious
if the
coldfusion connector had actually made the connection between cf and apache -
or if it
was still using the built in CF web server.

Hello! D,
Actually the Apache I am using is part of Foxserv. Foxserv is a free server
software which has built in php, mysql, apache, python etc modules?
Do you think it has something to do with Foxserv instead.
Honestly, except this PDF weirdness I have no probs with Foxserv.

Sean

This may sound like a silly question, but is the administration pages
actually running on apache or are they served by the built in cf
webserver on another port?
