I have been searching quite a bit now but couldn't find any answers.
I have configured apache for mass virtual hosting. I.e.:
##httpd.conf
UseCanonicalName off
VirtualDocumentRoot /var/www/html/%0
##
I will have the same "main" domain with different subdomains pointing
to the virtual hosts. I ha
it's close to GA. But
is it for the version before refactoring?

I am trying to get authorization to work on my apache installation. I
want to authorize depending on what group the user belongs to.
I am using
- Apache 2.2.15
- Centos 6.2 (Running as guest in VB)
My setup is working if I only want to authenticate/authorize based on the user.
Here is the sig
Nick,
How long time will it take before I can see it? If it's already visible,
could you point to that place, might be that I'm looking in the wrong
place.

An article like that would be great.
I'm afraid I am using the horrible solution. Could you point me in the rigth
direction for how to use apr_dbd and php, would be most appreciated.

Mysql is installed and works perfectly well.
I solved it using PHP to check if there is a valid session for the user
instead. Still, as I understand it, Apache's solution should be more
secure and I would like to have that
this doesn't work out-of the box? Licensing?

I am using OsX and Apache 2.2. I hope there is a way to do this which is
the same for both OsX and other Linux version.

transparent, but since I have found this difference I will use
Linux in order to avoid future problems and also for not needing to learn
things twice, once for each OS. Also, almost all instructions are taylored for
Linux.

Hello,
I am trying to compile Apache. I did download the latest version of the
sourcecode (2.2.17). This is what I do:
> sudo ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 --with-included-apr
> --enable-mods-shared=all --enable-module=so

and here I get
/Users/Niklas/De
che 2.2.17
MySQL 5.1
I really need to solve this and hope someone knows how to do this!
Thanks in advance!
