OK, I really hate to be writing this. But I have tried everything I can think
of. ProxyPass, RewiteRule and although I
can get http://irc2.mydomain.com/drone to work, I can not figure out how to get
drilling in to work.
I am using apache 1.3 and Virtual hosts. When I go to the drone main page
I have configured several virtual hosts on my apache 1.3-33 system. Each host
has several webs. What I would like to do
is simplify this a little. Here is what I have and this works fine
ProxyPass /web1 http://other-server/web1
ProxyPassReverse /web1 http:// other-server/web1
ProxyPass /w

work?

I have a conf file that has multiple RewriteRule lines. This
conf file works fine. My problem is this same conf file is used on several
hundred boxes and is created from a CVS build. I need to add a custom RewriteRule
for a single server that all other servers will not get. I believe I can
That did it, thanks.

I am trying to use rewrite and it is not working. I have a
debian sarge system. Here are the pertinent facts from the conf file and error
log. If I remove the block the systems works fine.
I know I am missing something but not sure what.
ii apache 1.3.33-6sarge2 versatile,
sub getApacheStatus
{
return getServiceStatus( '/var/run/apache.pid' );
}

Anyone got any

Yes, apache conf file can be written in perl, so you can use if statements
to determine whether you want something installed or not depending on
whatever your criteria is.
