bug fix in Apache 2.4.17 is tied to the error I was seeing.
Either way, I figured it was worth mentioning the solution I was able to obtain
in case anyone else runs into a similar issue.

Thank you for the response, cPanel does support this, but I would like
to setup something where I config all this by one config file and not
for each and every client.

Initially when I installed Linux on my computer I didn't have a
pressing need to use the apache server, so I allowed it to default on
the install. For some unknown reasion, the installer set up Apache with
VirtualHosts enabled. Now I'm trying to set up a web site and I'm

I am having a small config issue. I have a php application that is
trying to call ghost script but it only ever returns a blank page. in my
error_log for httpd I see "sh gs: command not found" Can anyone help me
out with this?

Hello all,
I have a small issue. I need to set the open_base directive for the
default site of apache so that php will be able to interface directly
with the Directory it needs to. I have tried adding this line to the
config file in just a random place as I do not know exactly where to put
this.

Auth works properly if it's just the "require group" statement is there

Is your LDAP server configured to allow anonymous searches? If not
you'll need to use the BindDN and BindPW (I think that was the word, but
you get the picture) directives.
