Hi,
Apache 2.2.9 has been officially released however it doesn't appear to be on
any mirror, not even the source code. Has something gone wrong?
Cheers
Graeme
Still no luck. This seems to be a weird error. I'm using mod_aspdotnet. I
wonder if thats what is preventing the gzip compression for non SSL
connections?

I tried out your suggestions, thanks for those. Unfortunately its still
not working. DEFLATE filter is working in the SSL virtual host, but not the
others, as the Content-Encoding header is there in the response from Apache.

already compressed - so you can't compress them further.

In the SSL virtual host, deflate it working fine, but its not working for
the two non-ssl vhosts. This appears to be a bug to me

Hi,
I am trying to get mod_deflate working with my virtual hosts, however it
does not appear to be doing anything. I am using Apache 2.2.4.
My Config is as follows:
NameVirtualHost *:80
Listen 80
ServerName www.domain.com
ServerSignature On
DocumentRoot "D:/Website_Dev/cImages/cimage"

Thanks Joshua, I'll give that a try. Its totally bizarre that it works 100% of the time over the HTTPS connection. On 11/13/06, Joshua Slive <

Hi,I have a strange problem with mod_deflate. I have it configured apache with two Port 80 Virtual Hosts and a Port 443 one.For some bizarre reason the SSL one is logging as deflating correctly but the two Port 80's are logging but showing that it is not deflating.
Any help would be most appreciate
You don't need either of those parts you mentioned. AspNetMount is the one that counts. Also having "AspNet Virtual on" as well will allow the WebResource.axd to be generated. Here are my headers below to show you what you should get:
HTTP/1.x 200 OKDate: Sun, 13 Aug 2006 00:29:40 GMTServer: Apache

Hi,I noticed that the mod_aspdotnet has been retired, does anyone have any info as to why, or if the module is going to be developed as a core Apache module. The last thing I want to do is return to IIS for
ASP.NET development :)G.
