I made a guess that the was a slowness in some part of Openssl, so tried
changing the following in my httpd conf
SSLCipherSuite removing +HIGH:+MEDIUM
did not make much diffrence.
p.s my SSLRandomSeed startup and connect are builtin

Hi,
I've come to this list from the subversion list due to slow initial connections
over https.
There is a 15 second ish delay whenever a client connects using https, i've
tracked this down in the logs to the snippet shown.
