I had a request to enable SSI on one of the domains I manage on a
2.0.55 server (built from source) on Debian Linux.
SSI behavior can only be described as "odd".
The developers have .shtml files that contain a number of directives.
Here is a real example:

Is anyone else out there having trouble with 2.2.0? For me, I only get a
blank page for our home page. This happens
in I.E. and firefox, though sometimes in one and not the other. The header
communication seems to be:
GET / HTTP/1.1
Accept: image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjp

Hi all,What is the max number of connection a server allows from a singleclient and how to change it(both in windows and linux). And how exactly the server determines the number of connections from asingle client? I dont think it uses client's IP (there can be many

Well this solution is dependent on programing skills.
You may have a C/C++ binary which fetches the password from a database (you
may hardcode it) and works as a wrapper to apachectl.
This could be done using PERL/SHELL script but that would leave the
password exposed in the scripts, so prefer bi

Hi there –
Is there a way to have an apache 1.3.34 server automatically
start with ssl enabled on system boot? Currently, I need to
start the server manually and enter the pass-phrase
associated with the certificate. How can this be done without admin
intervention? Thanks.
Krist,
Thank you!

Hi there. If I do a default installation everything seems to
work out OK.
Changing the default installation path to
/usr/local/apache2-0-55 with the following configure command:
shell>$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2-0-55
--libdir=/usr/local/apache2-0-55 && make && make install

The query that's executed after submitting that form just selects something
from a table, and the program has permissions for that.
In fact, it has all the permissions for any query type.
I can see that these errors in the log file show that they are not errors
but just "Info".
It is very strange,
Are the correct permissions GRANTed to update the given dataset (in
MySQL) when you submit the form?
