When I want to have informations from a .ogg audio file, I use the file
command from terminal. But now, with this version, it doesn't recognize
ogg anymore.
In Hardy, for example, I had :
Ogg data, Vorbis
You may be right Aitjcize.
It appends only with the Qt-based GUI : VirtualBox, VLC, Smplayer, Kdenlive...
Hope for a fix too.

Like Reinhard, Jc and Nic, if I turn on and off the kill-switch while
it's trying to connect, it works... at least with an open network (I've
not tried yet with wep or wpa).
If I restart dbus, it doesn't work.

I use the nvidia proprietary driver from the repositories, configured

For informations : I started my computer cable connected and wired connection
in the NM applet. Wifi switch turned off.
I turned on my wifi switch and tried to connect to an unsecured network. It
treied to connect during about 2 minutes, then came back to the wired
connect
With lastest Network-Manager (0.6.5-0ubuntu4), Network-Manager-Gnome
(0.6.5-Oubuntu3) and kernel 2.6.22-7-generic, still doesn't connect.
Even worse now : NM-aplet crashes each time I want to connect a wireless
network. In a terminal it's written : "Erreur de segmentation (core
dumped)"

It's recognized, but doesn't work at all. Nothing is previewed and

Same Dell 9400 here, same problem.
Ok it's a "hardware bug". But from Warty to to Jaunty it was possible to
workaround this by assigning manually which channel should controled by
the applet and the multimedia buttons.

I've just tried Ubuntu 12.10 alpha, with 3.4 kernel, and used vesa video
dirver for my nvidia card. So no 3D, nothing special. I've used it 5
minutes, then complete freeze again ! :-(
I only tried to install synaptic using Software Center and was waiting
for it to install. So really basic things..
Sorry not to follow your theory, but I have a Sandy Bridge with
dedicated CG and memory and I have hard freezes. So I'm not really sure
it's linked to integrated graphics.
