This package is still missing some encoding codecs.
At least it is still missing AAC and MP3 encoders.
Might be a different package i'm thinking of though...
ffmpeg -formats | grep aac gives:
D aac raw ADTS AAC
aac has no encoding enabled.

I also experience this bug on karmic using an intel BCM4311 wireless card.
Same issue, the wireless connection is randomly reset every 5 - 10 minutes.
I've tried the various wireless drivers for my chipset, and all except
ndiswrapper have this problem.
I also tried the upstream linux modules with

wlan0: deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)
is the line from dmesg I get after the connection drops out
Using karmic alpha 5 and I just downloaded the backported wireless
modules, so i'll see if that helps.
