I had an eth0 created normally the first time I started a gutsy domU,
but repeated restarts generated additional eth* devices (I am on eth13).
I am not very familiar with network-manager or the difference between
-workstation and -server, but I don't appear to be using network-manager
as I already

entry in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules. My 'original' eth0

I just wanted to comment since I have been researching this for a couple
of hours myself. Once I added

to my domain.cfg files, I was able to use the console to monitor the
bootup. I saw an immediate error about not being able to set the
hardware clock, but the boot continued.
I am experiencing the same bug with kubuntu 7.10 and Amarok 1.4.8. It
crashes while populating the collection with mp3 from an external usb
hard drive.
Never had this problem under 7.04, only happens since I upgraded.

It would be nice if there were a dummy "ghc6-hopengl" package in Feisty
depending on the new package name. Since there is not, Aptitude wasn't
too impressed with my attempt to get a new ghc6.

This does not appear to be a problem with yelp. Yelp complains because
these files are gunziped.
This is a problem with how the tutorial is packaged. Either the *.gz

Relates to bug #44100 but not exactly. I remember having a problem like
this where after a Feisty install I was stuck with a UK spell checker
but I don't remember how I fixed it.

I have installed Herd4 then have done constant updates. The application
you are referring to is alacarte
When I go to menu management (called Main Menu in US English):
It behaves as expected. Select an item and move it up or down as many
steps as desired without reselecting it.

Running alacarte from the command line reports it uses /var/lib/python-
support/python2.5/ and my version is 2.5-5ubuntu10. I also have version
2.4.4-2ubuntu4 installed. I have several other python packages
installed. Alacarte seems to be a python app.

which /home lives. Unfortunately, Amarok downloads podcasts to
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/podcasts, and there is no way to make it dump
them in another directory. The unhappy
