I found a workaround which is probably simpler:
sudo sed -i 's/utopic/vivid/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
followed by
sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get dist-upgrade.
In this way, the ppa version of systemd is upgraded to the most recent ubuntu
version!
Following your suggestion I would, besides
lspci -vvnn.log is empty, probably because I have no network connection

However, also no wifi with 3.15.0-0.1 in lubuntu-14.04 using bcm 4309.
Wifi works with 3.14.2 in both cases.

Workaround for kernel 3.13.0-5.20 : WiFi works after adding "apparmor=0"
in /etc/default/grub, doing "sudo update-grub" and rebooting.
