i have exactly the same problem. i did a reinstall, delete preference
(.audacious and others) but i end up with the same situation over and
over.

i got the same behavior over here and it happens with all folders.
i think it got something to do with quantity of files and folder inside
of the folder we are clicking on. the more files and sub-folder, the
more time it takes to respond. if there tooo much, it stop responding.

hi all.
i've been playing around with Intrepid Ibex since the First Beta
Release. since then i been updating almost every day, and the problem
persist: it does not power off.

i have similar behaviour.
i am connected via cable with dhcp. now i change to a manual dns, but a
few minutes later, dns is set to default dns (i think is dchp dns).
so, every few minutes (about 5) dns "reset" to the default and i have to
change it again. even if i do it manualy (by changing /e
yeap, i did connect with latest update.
i didn't update since 1 week, so don't know wich one does fix.

i made the same test over an edgy fresh install with ntfs-3g (this time
i test it with ntfs not fat32). this is my fstab config to that ntfs
partition :

wait a minute, the problem is not colorzilla extension. i have
downloaded firefox from mozilla.com and running it (the original, not
from repository) and colorzilla works ok on the same machine.
so obviously is some kind of adjustment made by ubuntu team on the
compilation.

software with problem: File Roller 2.28.1

howto reproduce the problem:
1.- download the test file.
2.- right click on the rar file and choos extract here.
3.- the error appear.

i'm using ubuntu 9.10 with gnome-do 0.8.3.1 and this happening me too.
but, it doesn't save any alias at all. after i hit enter, the alias
disappear.

"I would like to experiment in 10.10 with some innovative options there"
it's been 1 day using the left design buttons order, and it have been
terrible (and i'm not a newbie). it would be easier to get use to it if
the pain of making this change would give me something in exchange.

by the way, i used k3b to get out of the trouble, and when click burn,
it warns me about the name of the DVD (not filenames). Brasero doesn't
warn me about this.

i've been using audacious 2.3 since ubuntu 10.04 is out, and i can say
that i haven't seen this bug again.
so, as the message suggest, maybe is fixed.
