Hi Joel,
Bad news. It was fine after a couple of restarts or shut down/next day
boots but I had the same problem today.
I repeated what I did before, logged out and logged back in and now it's
ok.
I still don't understand how xorg.conf changes.

I had to edit ppp0 peer and chatscript to get it working. However, this is
still a MAJOR issue, as Networkmanager does not recognize ppp connections
(v8.04). Why is major? Well lots of things don't work if NetworkManager says
"offline" like:
Firefox
Pidgin
VPN
etc.

directory has a file of the same name and I say to replace it, I get an

I've successfully tried this workaround on samba 4.10.10-2, kernel
5.3.11.1-1, btrfs-progs 5.3.1-3 on Arch Linux. Should also work on
Ubuntu.

Network manager cannot connect to WPA2/PEAP/
I can confirm the existence of this bug in Ubuntu 22.04 Beta. Everything
is up to date. I've tried many things. Still won't work.
Oddly enough, everything was working fine on Arch Linux. I think some
patch distros do in this package breaks WPA2 Enterprise.
