Binary package hint: empathy
When a request to join a chat room is sent empathy neither gives a
notification nor a new window (alert) to accept the chat room
invitation.

Hi there,
Try to send a chat room invitation from another chat client logged in as a
different user. For me my colleague send a chat room invitation from PIDGIN
(even from AIM chat client). But I didn't receive any of the chat request.
