For me, it also does not trip at 10%. It might be because it is
monitoring the time until it reaches the trip point. Highlighting the
battery shows about 20-20 minutes less time than the battery actually
has, according to the output from acpi.

I believe that just indicates that it is a drop down menu instead of
being a bookmark. Example: I would be confused if the RSS symbol were
showing on a bookmark and a RSS. If there were no triangle, it would be
very confusing.

Not able to reproduce on an Intel 945GM and Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz.
Is it only two workspaces? Is wraparound enabled? Are there any conflicting key
bindings or plugins in your compiz-fusion setup (if it is not default).

GAH! It crashed my computer when I closed Eclipse...
I am trying to get a backtrace now. I had closed Find/Replace, still had
compiz-configmangager open, and just hit the big x at the top, and it crashed
Ubuntu. Not even trying to restart the kernel via Alt-Print Screen-K would

I have a theory...
Does anybody have Compiz Fusion turned on? What type of installation
(git, stable, or default Gutsy CF)? Can you turn off Compiz fusion or
turn off the Dbus plugin manually?
Also to note, Network manager is not telling me via bubble that I am
connected.

I can also confirm setting CONCURRENCY=none or 'none' fixes the problem.
Side effect is a slower boot. Something must be wrong with the kernel
internally because this happened after I upgraded to the most recent
kernel. How odd...
Does the Concurrency function refer to something inside the kernel?
I can also reproduce this with Compiz on an Intel 945GM. Apparently, compiz
segfaults and crashes X.
