the 720p movie i was trying to watch was TMNT. it was in .mkv format. If the problem is not in x11 in smplayer, it either is 1) corrupt file, 2) too high bitrate in the action scenes. I am encoding a lower resolution one. However, can a developer assigned to this bug please send out an email to a
