Got a connection with alternate account, but only after changing conncetion type to HTTP. Using default "messenger.hotmail.com with port 1863" is a no-go. Have set "proxy via gnome" as proxy-setting. but no proxy is set up in network. /Stefan 2009/4/30 drizzle > There is also this post as well:
