Yes, and the kernel has been upgraded many times since adding the custom entry and the custom entry doesn't show up. This might be relevant. I had 12.04 installed before and grub/osprober worked correctly. I did a clean install of 12.10 and this problem came up. Along with this #1051306 osprober
