ProblemType: Bug
That would be audacious 5.2.
I tried adding a ppa to try newer versions but I got the same thing so I
removed audacious and purged the repo but forgot to add the default repo
version before submitting the bug report.

Public bug reported:
While moving several files, one at a time, from one thunar window to another,
thunar randomly crashed.
The file transfer completed and it is upon completion of the move that it seems
to crash.
It is just like the crashes that plagued thunar leading up to the 1.6.10
release.
from terminal: thunar

'GObject'
(thunar:25045): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_qdata: assertion

I decided to do a complete reinstall, downloading a new copy of the Xubuntu
image, checking its signature, making a new bootable flash drive, verifying its
integrity.
While the second clean install did eliminate a couple of other weird issues,
the seg fault crash with thunar remains.
