I installed the new program as per instructions. Had an error when
restarting the program. An error report was generated and sent to the
bug people. Did a manual fsck and then things worked right. Once
operating the computer recognized sound programs but would not perform.

Its a lap top. I have never touched any sound boards if it has one. I have
only added memory cards.

up propertly.
