I've updated from 9.04 to 9.10 via Update Manger. grub.cfg/menu.lst show
this:

I've updated grub, but it didn't change:

Yes I did:

Hussam's solution worked for me too. Ubuntu 11.10 64bit with Nvidia
GeForce 210. Skype and Earth - the ones tested - went back. Thanks
