Same thing here. This issue does not occur in Kubuntu 21.04, so perhaps
it's something in the GTK stack? It doesn't seem to be a problem with LO
per se. I even installed older versions, and they exhibited the same
problem.

I added COMPRESS=gzip to /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf and ran
update-initramfs -u, and did NOT see the fail on the ensuing boot.

around the filesystem and pick something you like from wherever. Now
change your wallpaper again to anything else. Now go back and try to
pick the one you picked before - the "open" option is grayed out.

oneiric). I have not noticed it with rhythmbox, but will see if I can
