Eugene's fix (alone) will only solve the related problems until October,
or until this is fixed in stable.
For long-term fix, just in case, in the TZ file, under BEGIN:STANDARD,
also change:

to
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=11;BYDAY=1SU

sources.list, but not apt.conf.d, so there is a mismatch on release name
between sources.list (which all says "precise") and APT::Default-Release
(which still says "oneiric").

BTW, On an Asus EEE PC, "ethtool -K eth0 rx off" is rejected. However,
"ethtool -K eth0 tx off" will in fact turn off *both* TX and RX
checksumming (and vice versa).

I have the same problem with intel 4965 chipset, it appeared within last
couple of days. Really annoying, as i cant change the router to G mode
and have to use a wired connection on my laptop now
