I have tried unsuccessfully to install Mythbuntu 9.04 by CD (burned at
16X) on a 250GB IDE on a machine with Ubuntu 8.04 on 70GB SATA. Firstly
it crashed during install after hardware detection with the "insert
disk" message. Got round that and ran it live. During set up chose to
use Serial X10 rem
Public bug reported:
New install of Ubuntu 11.04 The first dvd i tried was a copy of
original. I got sound but only a black screen; no picture. I tried the
original disk and got an error message: could not read dvd. This maybe
because dvd is encrypted and a dvd encryption library is not installed
