I have the same problem all the time. I open Rhythmbox and it just won't
play any songs at all. I run Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron on my Acer Aspire
and my kernel version is 2.6.24-19-generic. They won't play in Totem
either. Very strange.

Well the current state of PA/ALSA in combination with Rhythmbox has not
changed. It still stutters a lot when I do other tasks. Can't really
point out the main sources of the stuttering. I thought it was Skype.
I have the same issue on Jaunty Jackalop using the latest kernel:

Firefox 3.0 displays http://imagewize.net (see top menu) differently from
Firefox in Windows XP. In Win FF all is well. In Ubuntu Firefox 3.0.13 the
search box and contact us button overlap. Several other websites look fine in
Win XP Firefox as well, but not in Ubuntu Firefox. Somehow Ubuntu Fi
in nm-system-settings.conf I have added these settings:

Using Lucid Lynx Beta I cannot enter the password using the GUI. To
enter it I had to use the the on screen keyboard. Like that I can login
properly. Afterwards the keyboards works just fine. NB I run Ubuntu on a
