of times. now it doesn't come back, although the crash still happens. this is
all I could get using ubuntu-bug simple-scan.
is there a way to tell apport to re-activate the crash dialog for a package?

eclipse will hang in the initial splash screen, which suggests to me that it is
a problem of firefox 3.6 and xuleunner with eclipse 3.5. don't know if it is

One extra note, I too can't give up Aptana, but didn't want to drop Lucid. I
ended up using the Aptana standalone version, which works with Java, PHP,
HTML, JS and Pydev installed. and since it is based on eclipse 3.5, I guess the
problem is in eclipse Ubuntu package and eclipse configuration f

I have a Sony VGN-Z555DN and everything works out of the box installing Karmic,
but the microphone defaults to extenral mic and I have to run alsamixer in the
terminal and change it to internal mic.
does anyone know of a way to do this automatically at boot time, just for
convenience?

distorted, the panel stays distorted even after rebooting. the only way
to get things back to normal is to remove and re-add the applets to the
